Short scar face lift, is indicated in patients who desire improvement in the lower portion of the face, around the mouth, chin and upper neck areas. The procedure consist of tightening the deeper tissue under the skin, as well as the skin of the lower portion of the face and upper portion of the neck. The incision is shorter compare to the traditional facelift, it is limited to the front of the ear. Short scar face could be associated with mid facelift, closed melopexy, fractional CO2 laser, and lipo suction of the jowlings. The recovery time and downtime is limited to a few days or about a week. The best candidate are relative young patients, or patients with secondary facelift.
